What "expedited" really means
There are two levers, and only one is truly yours to pull:
The fastest way to lose days on a rush application is a rejected document — if your trip needs one, get the China visa invitation letter right the first time.
The consulate's own express processing — offered at some consulates for an extra fee. We request it where it's available.
How fast your side moves — preparation, review, and getting the passport submitted. This is where days are won or lost, and it's the part we control completely.

Every China visa we handle comes in two speeds:
Regular — $199 (Courier Only) / $299 (Full Service) service fee; $399 / $499 all-in including the $140 consulate fee and FedEx both ways.
Rush — immediate preparation, your application jumps to the front of our queue with same-day submission, and the consulate's express processing is requested where available. Rush adds $75–$150 to the service fee — from $474 (Courier Only) / $649 (Full Service), all-in.

When rush is worth it
Rush earns its cost when the calendar is tight: a last-minute business trip, a family event you just found out about, or a departure that's closer than the regular timeline comfortably allows. If you have a few weeks, regular service is usually plenty. If you have days, Rush buys back every hour that would otherwise be lost to preparation and shipping.
What can still slow you down — even with rush
No speed tier can outrun a broken application. The things that stall even urgent cases:
An expired COVA confirmation (it has to be printed the day of submission)
A photo that gets rejected at the window
An application sent to the wrong consulate for your state
A passport too close to expiring (you need at least six months of validity and a blank visa page)
