Once completed, GMP provided easy to follow mailing instructions to forward my passport. Most importantly, GMP continually provided communication on the status of my visa. Are you a government agency?

No. Get My Passports is a private company that provides administrative assistance with Kenya visa applications. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by the Government of Kenya or any government agency. We do not issue visas. All visa decisions are made solely by the Government of Kenya. Applicants may apply directly through the official Government of Kenya website at https://etakenya.go.ke/ if they choose.

Is Kenya visa-free for US citizens?

No, US citizens require a Kenya visitor visa to enter.

Why was my Kenya visa rejected?

Common reasons: Incomplete or inaccurate documentation Insufficient financial proof Lack of evidence showing strong ties to your home country.

Can I reapply for a Kenya visa after rejection?

Yes. You can reapply once you address the issues that caused the rejection.

Do I need a yellow fever vaccination to travel to Kenya?

Only if you’re coming from a yellow fever-endemic country. The shot must be taken at least 10 days before arrival.

Do I need to print my Kenya ETA?

Yes. Print a physical copy of the approved eTA. You’ll scan a QR code upon arrival.

Can I get a Kenya visa on arrival?

No, Kenya uses an Electronic Travel Authorization system now. You need an approved eVisa before you travel.

Who needs an ETA for Kenya?

All passengers entering by air, land, or sea must have a valid Kenya eTA before boarding.

Can I extend my Kenya eVisa after arrival?

Yes. Apply through the Department of Immigration Services before your current visa expires. But plan your stay within the initial 90-day validity if possible.

Is the Kenya eVisa valid for multiple entries?

The standard eVisa is usually single entry. If you need multiple entries, we can guide you to the right option.

What if my Kenya eVisa is approved but I can’t travel?

Your eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. If your trip is postponed but still falls within that window, you can use the same visa. Otherwise, you’ll need a new one.
