Respuesta rápida: California está dividida entre dos consulados chinos: el norte de California se tramita en San Francisco y el sur de California en Los Ángeles, y China asigna la jurisdicción según su domicilio. Ninguno de los dos consulados acepta solicitudes individuales enviadas por correo: usted completa COVA en línea y luego el pasaporte debe presentarse en persona.
