C.: China asigna cada solicitud según su domicilio, y la embajada no acepta solicitudes individuales enviadas por correo. Usted completa el formulario COVA en línea y luego el pasaporte debe presentarse en persona. Nosotros coordinamos esa presentación en persona por usted, desde una tarifa de servicio de $199.

China asigna cada solicitud según su estado de residencia — no según su lugar de nacimiento ni la ciudad desde donde vuela. Puerto Rico corresponde a la Embajada de China en Washington, D.C., que absorbió la región del Sureste tras el cierre del consulado de Houston en 2020. Su dirección lo determina; si la solicitud se envía a la jurisdicción equivocada, la devuelven de inmediato — una de las demoras más comunes y más evitables. Conocemos la asignación a la perfección, ya sea que esté en San Juan, Bayamón o Ponce.
La embajada ya no acepta solicitudes por correo de personas particulares, y tampoco puede simplemente presentarse sin cita. Precisamente para eso estamos nosotros. Usted nos envía su pasaporte por correo, nosotros coordinamos la presentación en persona y el viaje de regreso donde esté disponible, y usted permanece en su casa en Puerto Rico todo el tiempo.
